Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license for bicultural and dual-language social worker. She has over 13 years' experience within non-profits. She has dealt with diverse populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse as well as victims of sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. In 2019, Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Mrs. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and prenatal women. She specializes in trauma-informed healthcare and provides an EMDR treatment for adults. She also offers both private and group counseling, medication assisted treatment and referrals for specialist care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda volunteers for Best Friends Animal Society to aid homeless animals to find a home. She believes in the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them all" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city that doesn't kill animals.
